Really Weird Situation w/ College Girl..Need Help

How do you normally initiate chat conversations with her? I'd say just reach out like that in a day or two.

Try not to read into “texting for hours and hours” too much. A lot of girls will do that just because they are always on their phone and if you keep talking to her she’s gonna keep getting the notifications and respond because she is either polite or bored/ has down time between texting other guys or whatever else she’s doing on her phone. The only way to really know if things are going right or wrong is to hang out in person. And if you must resort to text chat, make it interesting. Almost no girls are into the guys who ask them about school and tests and shite and if they do then you’re really lucky and she may actually just already like you.

There is a chance that she had you confused with someone else while texting.

She did a social media search on you. That's why she lost interest.

Don't text again. Ball is in her court. If you really want to try again ask her to hang out. Be very clear. Don't contact again after that if she declines or ignores you.

We didn't talk about school at all, she just said that because I told her I was going to bed and she wanted to express interest to talk the day after, I guess. We talked about a ton of other things and had really really good conversation to where she was initiating things (sending different heart emojis, etc. and talking about hanging out).

Then all of a sudden I never heard from her again. She never let me know how it went, and when I texted her a couple days ago I didn't receive a response.

I agree with what you guys are saying about don't keep texting her. I wasn't planning on following up for another few days/week. It is just so odd that our conversation went that well and she hasn't responded to my one text since.

I don't want to seem desperate but I also want to know what happened. Should I let her be, and potentially she will never text me again? Or should I send a short follow up maybe in a week? (she already followed me on social media so that can't be it).

She was probably talking to you and someone else, maybe multiple people. She decided she doesn't want to talk to you anymore. You essentially got ghosted.

You didn't talk at all. I don't want to read into the possibilities of what she was thinking or how she changed her mind since that isn't important.

Don't follow-up by texting her. She isn't replying to you for some reason.

Say, "Hi," to her when you see her in person and act like a normal person talking to another normal person. She should at least be nice to you then, and you'll be able judge her reactions to you much better than the infinite possibilities or tones that can't be expressed in a text.

Here is what you do:

1. Call her. Do NOT text her.

2. After a minute or so of chit-chat, just come out and ask her if she wants to get dinner with you sometime

3. If she says yes, you say "How does (Day) work for you? I'll pick you up around 6"

4. If she says no, you say "Okay, well, thanks for the great conversation, I really enjoyed it. Take care."

This takes big balls, and honestly, all of us don't have big enough balls to do this.
