it's NOP's assistant coach Tim Rowberry

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
Creepy Tim Rowberry has to be very proud that he can call himself a coach now, even though it couldn't be more obvious who still is the real supervisor.
I don't understand why people believe a choice of a coach is so important. Hassan is going to run fast no matter who it is. There have been thousands of great runners and they didn't all have the same coach.

Not true. I think you’ve forgotten her quality prior to her meteoric rise with Salazar. Reminds me of a certain british athlete as well...

People are different. They need a coach who’s system plays to their strength, who potentially has a team they can train with, with whom they get along, etc. It would sound weird if you said:

Whose*
Tim Rowberry is an awesome coach. He also assistant coaches for our college team and he's super fun, nice, and honest. Incredibly knowledgeable as well. Puts off a totally different vibe than many other serious high level coaches. He actually brought siffan and yomif to our altitude camp last summer.

This is the dumbest post I have seen from you, and your posts are consistently very dumb.
No, every one of thousands of great runners has not had the same coach. Thank you for your insight.

This is either Tim or Alberto

No, you're the idiot. My point is there have been countless great runners and the common denominator is the high level of natural talent and not the coaching. Hassan is likely to run well regardless of who's catching her.

Almost no HS runners can chose their coach or team, but yet there have been many great runners. German Fernandez had no one to train with, lived in a dinky farm town and had a coach with zero experience coaching elite runners, but still ran well. A talented, self-motivated runner is going to excel in most programs.

Whoever catches her is a lucky guy. And yes, I agree with you. She will prove this year that last year was no fluke. I see 2 golds for her this year.
Making a young untrained HS runner better is low hanging fruit compared to extracting every last bit of performance from a professional runner who’s been training consistently for years.

Then learn to write in English.
What a comeback lol.
Maybe American being the only language you understand is why you have a need to demand people to write proper English; this, probably not knowing the only proper English is in England.
btw this is a message board "who cares".
Chooses

100% agree with you. I've had the great fortune of coaching several national-class high school kids and would say to other coaches who complimented me because of them that just about any coach could have gotten them to that point. I had almost nothing to do with those kids being so fast. I will give myself credit for not messing them up, but it's really the strength/depth of our JV teams that I feel points to me being a solid coach.
Sifan is world class no matter which coach she "choses".
What did she do to her coach?
