Abdi for sure. Like you guys said, his run in New York last fall was good, and is better than anything Lagat has done in the marathon. Lagat’s has only run 2 marathons, and while his second marathon was a lot better than his first, it’s hard to say whether he improved or if it was just the lack of hills. If it was improvement, then maybe he has a chance if he can improve that much again, but I feel like the hills will get to him again (despite his training in Kenya). I think Abdi will be 5th, Lagat 10th at best, and Dathan lower. No disrespect meant to any of those guys, it’s just what I think!
