Hi,
I was hoping someone could answer a question for me. I recently bought a brooks pair of Adrenaline 20 running shoes through Amazon. They are pretty comfortable and I do like them, they did take a little getting used to though as I guess I was using previous shoes (running and walking) that were slightly larger than what I actually was.
As for the question, I ended up getting the Adrenaline because when I first read details of a support shoe I thought that was more important for me, since I have flat feet and really bad knees. I read something that the new Adrenaline's have some kind of padding that helps with knee support. After buying them though, I did try on a few more different shoes in a retail store, one of which was the Brook's Ghost shoe. The fitting person as well as another, both said that I didn't really pronate and really should wear more of a neutral shoe(such as the Ghost). So I guess the question is, how much of a problem is it then that if I stay with the Adrenaline's? Will it impact my feet for the worse?Should I exchange them for the Ghosts? They also suggested that the ghosts in combination with an arch support/mid sole support would be proper for me.
Also another reason why I went with the support shoe is because a few years ago when my feet and knees were killing me, I ended up buying Brook's addiction walkers, even though I think at that time, that clerk as well thought it was too much support and I didn't pronate, etc. Ultimatey, I bought it anyways and long story short it took away all the leg and knee pain, and I used the shoes for about 3 years. So I just wanted to throw this out there and see what other's feedback is.
