Was (Is) there a live results site? Never saw Wanders finish. And I'd be surprised if Iguider didn't drop early - like before the women were about to scream past him.

Several named Weldon.
Weldon Kirui has won LA Marathon a few times.
Crazy race!! Ababel just kept on going! Interesting to see Kosgei had switched back to the 4%... maybe to prove a point after the shoe coverage relating to her time in Chicago? Didn't pay off today.

That's what I would expect--a WR is set, the winner lays down on the ground and gets carried out of the chute.
Unlike Eliud, who runs a 1:59 marathon and dances around after like he went for a nice jog.
He's definitely dirty. No way you finish that and are still running around. Your average elite finishes a marathon and is barely able to walk afterwards.
74.57 to 66.37 for shauri

I got the impression from what she said after Chicago that she was told to wear Next%. Maybe she didn't like the feel of the shoe and didn't think it was an upgrade.
The F1 pacer had some interesting body mechanics...
maybe she just likes flyknit wrote:

No way. She said she saw what Kipchoge did in the shoes(while not realizing that it wasn't the Next%) and she wore it for Chicago.
They are still looking for Iguider!
Julien Wanders 1:00:46 ouch ☹️
He said that everything went well in his preparation, he did his best ever at training but unfortunately he just didn't have the legs today.
He's still focusing 100% on world half championships in March and he's still confident

Unbelievably smoking times, where will it end??

How much does Brigid carve off the WR? As I have posted elsewhere: only doesn’t happen if she is not serious, i.e., importance of the next event overrides the possible detrimental effect the effort of winning brings.
Do you think she was only going to extend herself if nobody else could go with her? Kosgei’s 2020 is surely more importantly about winning London v Ruth then deciding if she can back up for the Olympics.

Looks like the Takumi-sen.
Yes, an older version. All Takumi sens were 5s, not the newest version 6. Most Next%s were green, which is an older colorway. I am wondering why the athletes who competed there didn't receive the newest shoes.

The women just ran the pace of 30:35 for 10K. That is close to the American Women's record for 10K.

No I do not think that. There was a $100,000 bonus that she missed out on.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
