Haven't been really doing sprints lately since it's winter.
But have been maintaining speed based off of hack squatting and lifting. Anything below 50 meters is not based on actually training for sprinting by sprinting but by how much weight i'm lifting in the gym. But everyone already knows that.
Speed is based off of how strong a person is and how much weight they can lift. Not on actually sprinting to get fast. It's all based on how strong a persons muscle fibers are compared to how much they weigh. Alot like a car.
These are all hand timed. So add in .75 of a second to get a real time. Somewhere around .75.
So these are all 1.75 or so. I just don't have the time to add .75 to each of these and do the math on it and then write them down on my track stat sheets so I just write down the hand time that I got.
Also I eat creatine monohydrate powder, honey, raw garlic cloves, and cayenne pepper powder between each rep to reduce the lactic acid buildup even though lactic acid is going to be minimal on these.
Those also reduce cortisol levels.
