I just recently got back into running after nearly 10 years out of training. A few months ago I started back up but I was quickly slowed down by pain in my right knee and a sharp pain that started in the my right heel and turned into swelling in my right Achilles. I took about three weeks out until I was pain free and started back slow. I did a week of walking a half mile and running a half mile then I've slowly started to add a little bit of volume to my runs. The pain is back in my heel/ankle area. Initially I thought it was caused by my shoes (Kinvara 9's) but I have been running primarily in my Clifton 1's and I'm seeing some of the same results. Anyone have any idea what this would be? I obviously have some sort of mechanical issues with my right side as all these issues have occurred there. Anyone ever dealt with a similar issue?
