June Eastwood runs 4:45 mile

Today June ran a 4:45 mile for 19th place at the Husky Classic. June was the 13th collegiate.

I am a female runner, and I don’t believe June should be competing against female runners. June is not female and therefore doesn’t belong in that category of competition.

Was the heat winner.

Also ran an altitude adjusted 4:50 almost a month ago at a MSU indoor meet. Again as she ran 3:50 for 1500 that works out to about 4:38 if converted and the 12% rule is applied.

But.... June is a female and therefore does belong in that category.

Lol good freak out. If you're a female running a 4:45 mile than you're a nobody in competitive world. Nothing wrong with it. But nobody's really going to care about that slow a time.

Come back when June is crushing a 4:15 mile.

A female running 4:45 is a pretty good runner. A male running 4:45 isn’t, which is what June is.

The part where she had to take an entire year off to bring her hormones and correlating physiological factors into line with the women she runs against - according to NCAA rules. Again - she doesn’t even crack the top 50 of NCAA D1 runners. Do your research. smh

Has improved 19 seconds already this season, and it is still early. Another 10-15 seconds and the tenor of the discussion will change markedly.

Yeah she was a slightly better male runner than she is a female runner. She is running about the exact times you should expect. If she runs a 4:30 next week we can talk (while still noting that is 20s off previous times).

Was at the meet. Took control early and looked like a tempo run. Eyes kind of darted around last 200m to see if anybody was near (only one girl was trailing her seriously) and then coasted in. Look absolutely chilling. You don’t think a few seconds are possible in a legit race? That converts close to a West Preliminary qualify 1500m time already. That is someone’s spot who will get taken come April.

You really think taking hormones can change biologically fixed factors that are advantageous to men like height, heart size, blood volume? Educate us, please.

June's time are so far lining up pretty much right about where you would expect, maybe she is even a little slower than expected. So far im not seeing anything to convince me she is benefitting from an unfair advantage and im ok with it.

Biological male dropping down to essentially lower leagues isn’t the same thing. No matter what handicap they may place upon themselves. If you think otherwise, you are too far gone to speak to. I have my opinion and you have your (dumb) opinion as well.
