I think it's because women runners are less likely to wear makeup when they're out and about especially running since it will run down.

It's because they don't wear as much makeup, meaning it's easier for the fine lines and wrinkles to show, the same you'd see on other women who didn't wear as much makeup.
Plus greater exposure to the elements during a run. And possibly more oxidative stress.
Out of curiosity have you looked at very many 40 to 50-year-old men? Please jump on Facebook and Google a bunch of college runners or anyone that ran 20-30 years ago and let me know how they look?
Most of the guys I know in their 40s and 50s aren’t exactly ready for the cover of GQ.
It’s called aging and it happens to all of us at different rates but in the end none of us stay looking like we did when we were 20. Eventually gravity and life catches up with everyone.
Kenyans tend to age a lot faster than black Americans. But it may be due to lower bodyfat percentage. In general, people who have less body fat especially in the face look older. Like the changes we see in adolescence when someone losers their "baby fat".

This. It is the extremely low body fat combined with sun/wind exposure. Fat under the skin is youthful. As a person ages their skin thins, their lips thin, etc. Extreme fat loss has the same effect as aging. You can look at any very thin female runner and they have almost no top lip, like old women. Hasay, for example, but even koko, who is so young, is losing hers. Thin top lip = old looking.
You are confusing fat with collagen. Low protein = low collagen = poor facial structure and skin.
No. Idiot. You’re so wrapped up in your need to push your stupid diet it forces you to endlessly write the stupidest things. Do you have a head injury? Collagen has to do with skin losing its elasticity, the lack of fat is completely different. Although both do happen with age (and sun damage also destroys elasticity). Stop with your diet stupidity unless someone actually asks you to make them a little bit more stupid. Idiot.
. Oxidative stress is generally considered the starting point for the onset of several diseases and certainly plays a major role in the development of aging and chronic and degenerative disorders such as arthritis, autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases, inflammation and cancer [6–14]. Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) and Reactive Nitrogen Species (RNS) are the terms collectively describing free radicals and other non-radical reactive derivatives.

The seed oils and lack of B12 have seriously triggered your brain grenade.
Eat cheap starchy slave food and toil for hours in the sun and expect to look like anything other than a medieval babushka peasant?
I think poor skin is a sign of disordered eating (not eating enough fat/protein), and I notice it more in vegans too. Your skin needs fat and protein- it’s biology 101.
A lot of foods today are nutrient poor. Look at the soil they're grown in. You're not comparing like to like, when you look back at the 50s, 60s, even 70s and the quality of fruit and veg. A lot of the fruit I see in popular supermarkets now is that nasty 'supersweet' bred fruit. I don't touch it. I mean fruit is sweet enough, why would I want it to be sweeter? I don't get it. Anyway, people are eating stuff they think is healthy... and it isn't. They are drinking drinks they think are healthly... and they aren't. And there are certainly a lot of women who don't eat enough fat & protein as mentioned above, with carb heavy diets.
But I would say it's a combination of factors -
not wearing moisturiser or having a good face care routine
genetics
not drinking enough water, surprising how many people barely drink anything.
sun, maybe more of a factor in other countries, not so much where I am.
smoking
boozing
etc.
Geez dude.

What does running to women that ages them so badly? Typically the reverse effect happens to men...?
It has to do with the fact that muscles become looser and flabbier due to running distance... But it doesn't give you a reason to point this out.
This was very rude of you to say.
Learn proper English etiquette.
Go online and study all day about how you should conduct yourself at all times with the proper English etiquette.
Never say this about women.
Would you say this to a female in person? No you wouldn't... So don't say it behind closed doors.
Always conduct yourself in the manner that's consistent with how you would conduct yourself if you were in a face to face meeting with one of these women.
If you wouldn't say this to her face then don't say it here.
Very rude and disrespectful of you to come on here behind closed doors and say this.
Be stronger than your hatred and anger towards women.
Be stronger than the hate.
Be stronger than the anger.
Be stronger than the sarcasm.
Sarcasm is hatred.
It's not the 40 yo who looks 50 that should worry you. It's the 15 yo who looks 21 that you need to keep an eye open for.
truth be told. wrote:

I've also noticed, especially at our local Y, that the grey ponytail set and the associated lifestyle of veg/vegan/smoke/yoga/envy, is not conducive to aging well.
Who cares what a 30 year old looks like? Only a fool ever deals with a chick older than 19 or heavier than 105.
I love marathon Joanie, but......
I think there's a definite genetic component.
They look much better if you look where the sun don't shine...
