The fatality rate is less than 3%, barely more than the flu. Most of the deaths are elderly people with weak immune systems. And not everyone exposed even gets the sickness. It seems the media is just playing this up big-time because it's a 'new' sickness and seems interesting so people listen/read the news more when they talk about it.
Extremely ignorant post. I suggest you educate yourself.
Also, the fatality rate is dependent on numbers that China’s releasing. They’re cremating people immediately without confirming the death is from coronavirus so the fatality rate could be much worse. And they are running the cremation furnace 24/7, much more than the reported 900+ deaths from the virus.
Also, don’t you think if flu would actually kill 3% of people infected,it would be much bigger deal to have a flu? 3% death rate is extremely high for something as common as getting a flu.
