Young's stride looks quite quite strained but great run regardless. Converts to about 8:34 for two miles?
Knight looked very composed.

wow Nico Young, I think that was also his first ever indoor race, very impressive!
One of the fastest indoor times in high school history. LetRun posters never disappoint to follow the Rojo mentality.

I would hope he was very composed. In a slow race.
No one world class in this race.
What fault? That is the way a lot of the high school records get set. No shame in that.

holy crap can we stop with the allyson felix nonsense? she's been washed up for at least 3 years now, looked like a snail on the track. can't even get a real sponsorship as a many time medalist. she's irrelevant and i'm so done hearing about her
You will never escape her . USATF will find some way to get her to Tokyo . Maybe the trials of the coed relay or some obscure event
All they're showing here is a bunch of fat guys and commercials.
It's a record, fair and square. There are just different ways to set them.

Overall, the field wasn't incredible, but Tanui is most certainly world class - ran 13:15 2 weeks ago. Has an olympic medal too.

High School Record, misses the American Junior Record
Probly would of got both if he didn’t do that mile/800 reps workout that was posted here the other day. He should have Raszko coach him and break Webb’s high school mile record.
Nico was only 10 seconds off the winner, but getting the record I think was his goal.
Also, great mile time by Marlee Starliper. 4:37 is impressive. There are several fast and talented girls running the mile now, and they seem to be pushing each other to get even faster. Touhy's 4:33 outdoor record could be in jeopardy in the near future.

Tanui is a world class 10000 & 5000 runner. Much better in the 10. Not so much in the 3k
Purrier --nR!
Purrier!! Holy crap!
Holy crap!
Purrier Wow! AR & MR!
Hell of a kick! Did not see that coming. thought it was Koko.
The indoor time has been faster than the outdoor time for a while.
Is Purrier better than Houlihan?
