It's disturbing that Germany's kit doesn't have Deutschland printed on the singlet.
I'm surprised that the German kit is not sponsored by Adidas.

Same for other Nike countries such as Algeria, Russia and Israel have their country's name printed in English rather than Arabic, Russian or Hebrew. Could you imagine the outrage if Asics made the American singlets and printed アメリカ合衆国 instead of USA lol.
What in the world is that jumpsuit Caster is wearing?

That isn’t what they were talking about.
I really like Kenya’s singlet.
The US singlet is extremely underwhelming. I was a big fan of our 2012 kit and think that American Exceptionalism should be represented by a distinct kit. Something like the 2012 kit but in white with blue letters and red swoosh would stand out.
wow and I forgot the biggest one: China ! It seems like all Nike countries must put their name in English.
I looked at other brands, if any one is interested:
Asics
Morocco is "Maroc", due to a past French colonialism but their singlets are made by Asics, a japanese company. Their official language is Arabic. Japan actually prints the english version of "Japan", which is quite strange considering their singlets are made by a local company. Italy is "Italia" and the Netherlands print their name in Dutch (nederland), so it seems that Asics countries have a choice regarding the language.
Adidas
Everything is English. Many English speaking African and Caribbean states.
Puma
Switzerland prints "Suisse" (French, one of their 4 official languages) but Norway uses the english version. Jamaica is in english which is their official language.
Smaller brands usually mean a country will print its name in its official language for example: Spain (Joma), Turkey (not sure of brand), Poland (AF).
I agree that the uniforms for the USA and Canada are disappointing. I don't think that the USA should be represented by a greyed out purple, it needs to be a standout colour. I like the blue 2016 singlet. Same thing for Canada, they should have a bright red one.
Quite possible the languages will change during the official in country launches. I can’t imagine Nike would refuse such a request.
I like it as well - at least its a different design - more similar to some African patterns which works for them - simlar to Nigeria in the World Cup which were a huge hit. Dont like the US ones at all - I do like moving back to having red white and blue in the kit but mixing them like that just looks kind of purple. The ones that I dont get are when they all have the same kit with different colors - as a Country's Olympic Committee I would just be like no thanks I will go ask for time to design my own, but I guess they get held over the barrel on something like this for the other gear they need. I may be the only one but I think an updated one of the 72 kit would look great - simple white singlet red and blue USA and blue bottoms, you could certainly find ways to jazz it up for sprint suits but who knows...
I think it looks okay.
wHAT A SHAME! Probably took a lot of money to comr up with this sh-t!!!
Looks like cell walls.
I really like it. It's different, bold and fun, without being stupid. Can't wait to see it in action.
I think it looks great. It's not too overwhelming when seen in a group of other outfits, but still something different and special. Much better than USA or Canada outfits. Well done. Although their mistake was not to know their audience who might have looked for something a bit more traditional.
The athletes love it.
