There is no way they can ban this (in my opinion).
Yeah, but they didn't giver her maternity leave.

Those are not her fancy new spikes. I think the writer meant the new sprint spikes incorporating the Alphafly tech.
These are the new spikes in question

Bur she really is.
She has no shot at making it to Tokyo other than in the relay pool, where they will not throw her a bone again like they did for Worlds just so she could get a medal.
She's Washed up.

If you're using her 2018/2019 seasons as any indication of her being washed up, you're being disingenuous. She can very much make the Olympic team in an individual event. Prepare to eat crow.
Does anyone not remember Jenny S having custom spikes?

And what about the prototypes that Mcgee and coburn are racing in the last 2 weekends? Is it all prototypes...or just prototypes for road flats?

What a way to phrase Allyson coming to the end of her illustrious career. “she’s all washed up.” Jerk

I Lost all respect for her after she misrepresented what really happened with her Nike contract. She let people believe that Nike dumped her because she was pregnant, when in fact her contract was up and they made her an offer that she thought was too low. Whether it was too low or not is one issue, she let people believe it was another. I also think she's a piece of crap for expecting to be paid for not running, she just played the pregnancy card when it was about business. Runners get paid to run and to win and to sell shoes. She was only able to do one of those things and the offer she got reflected that. As far as I'm concerned, she should just retire and save herself the embarrassment that's about to befall her.
you can't sprint faster by bouncing. You need fast cadence and that means less bouncing.
you lose speed by adding any form of vertical displacement to your footstrike. A sprint footstrike needs to be quick, and it needs to be on the ground solidly as soon as possible so the body can begin accelerating from the planted foot.
You can't "bounce forward" because the surface you're bouncing off is pointing up, not forward.
Nike spikes have only one world record at 800 meters or below, and a minor one at that: women's 400 hurdles. And that wasn't achieved by the spikes, but by whatever caused the crazy record run of 2019. These "fly" spikes will not break any world records. Adidas, Mizuno, Puma and Asics are safe. That's right, Nike is tied with Asics for 4th best spikes.

This sounds great.
The shoe itself though could lose some extra weight by making the plate thinner a bit.
Also I just checked out the 2016 Olympic 400 meter dash final.
She has what appears to be 14 ounces of hair plus a yellow head band that's also adding weight to her.
She could have shaved her head to reduce air drag and overall total weight.
She's also wearing what appears to be a paper bib on both the front and back of her with her number on it.
THere has to be a better way to do that. They should instead go with a tiny sticker on the athletes leg with a small number on it.
She's wearing earings. If she didn't wear the earings then that's extra weight that she could have took off of her which would then increase her overall power to weight ratio when then would allow her to run .000000000098 of a second faster.
She's wearing long socks. She should have opted to go without those long socks. They did nothing but add overall weight to her.
What about Michael Johnson’s hold dhoes I’m the 96 Olympics? Should we take away his records?

Yeah I think we should now investigate all shoes. Sounds like a really good idea actually.
