The Peg 37 shown is not going forward. It has been pulled back and replaced with more "traditional" Pegasus. More ground contact and a 10 mil. offset.
what's your source for that info?
I wear-tested the peg 37 and it was exactly what the photo in this thread showed. beefed up, react midsole, unknown if it kept the zoom air unit. I had never worn a Peg before but it did feel more like I expected a Vomero to feel like. My size 10s weighed something like 10-10.5oz so a size 9 would be 9.3-9.8 oz.
still would be okay on trails...somebody mentioned that they used Pegs on trails and this new version wouldn't be capable, but I can assure you that it still is capable of handling mild trails.
I can't say when I was doing the wear testing but it was sometime in 2019. I'd be okay with them going to a less-cushioned version but I'm pretty sure that they aren't doing that
I really hope they don't do that sole on the 37. That would be awful for a shoe that I typically use for 500 miles.

My guess would be the model replacing the Streak which looks like the Next% but is much lower.
I would have loved to, but the most recent one was in the pegasus family. I was a huge fan, despite it being way different than previous editions.
fugly ass shoe
Not sure what you were doing in your Epic Reacts. I took my Odyssey Reacts well past 400 miles and it was the lack of grip on the outsole that caused me to retire them. The React foam still felt great.

Similar.
I’m 6’0”, 165lbs, and a size 13.
For me, react cushioning is the best daily trainer. I’m not an elite at all, and in the first five months of running went from a 1:58:00 half to a 1:35:00.
Odyssey Reacts started leaving me with sore legs around 400 miles.
Epic react v1 did the same at 540 miles
On my second pair of epic react v1
I know they’re not a cool training shoe, but for a size 13, it’s really hard to beat the weight, cushion, responsiveness, and longevity of these shoes.
By comparison, Turbo 2’s leave me with sore feet and sore legs during a 6+ mile run.
I bought Vomero 14's for 50% off . picked up 2 pair . The Peg 36 feels like it has too much cloth around the toe area . Hoping the 37 fits like the 35.

Vomero's you picked up @ Outlet? Im just finishing my stock of 34s and got a pair of 36s it does feel like it will break in although the arch is quite prominent anyone know if that goes away?
Anyone know if a trail version is in the works as well/ and will it be part of the initial release. Trying to decide if I should pick up the Pegasus 36 trail or wait for a React version
if you want a react trail shoe, there's the wildhorse and kiger already
Did Nike accidentally leak the 37, at least the Flyease NikeID version? This page popped up on Google...perhaps I just caught them in the process of taking the 37 SKUs live. These look way better than the launch colorways...

I'm not too impressed at this point but maybe they feel better than they look.
The sole reminds me of the Zoom Fly 3.

I got bad heel slippage in the pegasus 36. Good to see other people using the odessey react. IMO they are much better than the epic react.
Updated pics.
On another note, why are all the new vaporfly's (valerian blue) sold out on Nike, but Eastbay has all sizes available? Does Nike have a discount on them?
Now that Nike's has come out with the 4% all their going to do is make the Peg series closer and closer to something resembling the alphafly (maybe slighly lower stack) for the next 5-6 series and people will buy them because fast
How much do they weigh? I run in the 35's and those are 9 ounces.

Same as the React Infinity Run 10.5 oz. for a men size 10.5. The weight does not bother me on the Infinity Run for easy stuff.
