According to AOC and her constituency it will no longer exist unless we pass the Green New Deal.
We'll be in year 23 of amazing peace and prosperity. Unfortunately, out benevolent King Trump will have recently passed away and the liberals will be plotting their return.

But nobody because when you account for the Vapor Fly 27 factor, his converted time will be 2:30.
Ahmed will be the Governor of California.
It is interesting.
20 years is a long time for people.
all the people will look somewhat older, and there will be lots of new people around with new character flaws nobody thought of yet. That's how generations work.
50%+ tax on all income for those that earn more than 150K
Based on how mental the current president is and the number of religious nuts I suspect it's only a matter of time before it turns into The Handmaid's Tale.
Statues of Kobe everywhere. Coastal properties in Nevada. Children with ridiculous haircuts and bad grammar running amok in the new malls. Personal drones that fly you to the edutainment center. No one will have jobs, utopia is reached.
Also, with better drug testing, winning marathon times will return to 2:09 - 2:10.
Very dark.
We'll have open borders and a lot more people speaking Spanish and Canadian French.
That will help USA win the World Cup.
75% of the cars on the road will be Electric and most cars in cities will be driven autonomously, including most taxi's/ubers. People will be more integrated with technology and maybe even be able to interface with it mentally using something like Neural link. A lot of industries will be disrupted by AI, and consulting/gig jobs will be more prevalent. Educated and skilled workers will be fine because they can easily set themselves apart by being faster and more competent with technology. The US national debt will be at $50 trillion and the S&P 500 will be at 10,000. Global temperatures will be on average 3-4 degrees hotter than today. Stronger hurricanes will continue to cause tens of billions in economic damage every year to coastal cities. Larger cities like NY and Boston will put massive sea walls in place to combat the 3-6 ft rise in sea level. A small percentage of coastal and island residents will already be displaced. Climate change denial will be viewed as akin to conspiracy theories like the moon landing, and Clean energy production will be ramped up. Unfortunately most of the damage will already be done & localized climate phenomena will disrupt agriculture so that crop yields will be harder to come by. California and Australia will have massive fires every 1-2 years. Areas around the great lakes will be more tolerable to live in year-round and those areas will see a surge of new residents as California & New York become less desirable and 30-50% of the workforce will be remote or from home full time.
You had me until you got into the whole global warming part. The average temperatures have risen 1 degree Fahrenheit since 1880, so 3-4 increase over next 20 years is highly unlikely, one degree would be a lot. And to the hurricanes, look back 20 years ago. We had many big hurricanes like Katrina and Charley. Nothing has changed, we still get the same number and they aren't any bigger. And then the wild fires, California has always had wild fires, just not where people live. In the past few decades due to the continued increase of population in California people have started to build houses in the dryer parts of the state away from the coast, and these areas have more fires, so we hear about them more often.
Also the national debt will not likely be $50 trillion unless we have massive inflation. A decade ago it was at $15 trillion, it is now about $21 trillion. This increase is just about exactly on par with the increase of our national GDP. It will likely be closer to $40 trillion by 2040 because that's what our national GDP is and we have been hovering right around that mark for all of Obama's terms as well as Trump's term, so it is safe to assume that trend will continue since it doesn't seem to be tied to either party.

We thought we'd have flying cars and little pills that we pop in the microwave for 5 seconds that turn into a full meal by the year 2000.
No one has any idea what anything will look like in 20 years. Any guesses/thoughts/theories/etc. are purely conjecture and will almost certainly be incorrect.
I was off on the climate change stats a bit. I do think 1-2 degrees F is likely in the next 20 years and 3-5 by 2100. Also I think sea level rise is actually predicted to be around 9-12 inches after 20 years with potentially up to 8 ft. by 2100. Didn't re-check those beforehand and couldn't precisely remember them off-hand.
Compare the size of Irma (2017) or Katrina (2005) to Andrew (1992). They're definitely bigger now. Katrina was historically big, but that size is becoming more common. It may get even worse with warmer water and higher sea levels.
There have been larger hurricanes in the past, but too my knowledge, none have been Category 5 (which is based on peak wind speed).
National debt quadrupled in the last 20 years. Why would you assume it wouldn't do that again? Realistically we are looking at 60-70 trillion in 20 years especially as interest payments grow.
Hard and sad to imagine, but even fatter and dumber. In deep, deep debt. In precipitous decline.
