Very sad news. RIP Kobe.
Very sad news. RIP Kobe.
Him and his daughter had a very special bond. She was the basketball player daughter. They will be memorialized in many of their youtube videos. He was a great coach to his daughter's team.

Why did my post about Kobe being a rapist get deleted, but my original post didn't?
is it bc he's a top athlete?
you won't get the Aussie references but the sentiment is clear...and accurate.

He was at worst a rapist, at best an adulterer who happened to be good at sports ball.
Whatever dude...He is a different person now. A very dedicated coach and father. He was an excellent coach of his daughter's AAU team. Look at the youtube videos. He gave back to the future.

Doesn't matter what type person he is now. I salute him for being a good father but he never paid for his sins as a rapist. Again, he seems like his father but what he did to that girl was reprehensible and he deserved 20 years in the slammer for it.

Because it was judged to not actually be that.

I'm appalled at the losers hiding behind a keyboard taking shots at Kobe on here and other sites. How would you like it if you died and people were judging you for what they thought to be your worst moment? Calling you names and trying to play you off as a bad person? Yeah, karma will come your way. Only miserable people think with constant hatred and negativity in their minds.
I graduated high school in 1997, so it feels a bit like we grew up together after his 25 years in the spotlight. No more Kobe? That just doesn’t feel right.
RIP Kobe and Gianna.
These helicopters are dangerous.
Innocent lives lost.
Call your congressperson and demand common sense helicopter laws!
These death traps must be banned and confiscated!
Special bond. Him and his protege.

Those small planes are as well. If I were a successful business person or celebrity I'd still have to fly commercial. These things are always falling out of the sky.

After 9/11 it was like 5 years before a commercial airliner crashed. Maybe longer. Just in American there are 5000 flights daily. No idea internationally but planes are safe as can be. Helicopters are a different story. I was at the Grand Canyon and now way was I getting in a helicopter. They had about 6 people die recently in Hawaii. Not sure how safe overall helicopters are but you will never find me flying in one. Especially at tourist attractions.
I got them to lift the usernmaes only as I feel like some of this needs to be mentioned. I'm sad he died but we are all flawed.

Small planes like the cessna and piper still do not have the same safety record of flying commerical. You can literally find stories of them falling out of the sky every month in America alone...

This may have been 15 or 20 years ago but I remember commuter planes - those traveling up in the northeast - had pilots making like $9 an hour. Again - this may have been 20 years ago but commuter pilots are not paid anythnig.
Regional pilots are still not paid as well as those who fly for the actual commercial airliners. The best paid pilots are those who fly internationally as they're typically employed directly with Delta/American Airlines, etc. Your flight from Atlanta to Cleveland for example would be run by a subsidiary of Delta. The pilot isn't directly employed by Delta. Those pilots don't make really good money until they reach captain. all captains are paid 6 figures.

Actually, it wasn't 5 years. Not even close. It was 2 months. A commercial plane crashed in NYC in November 2001, killing all on board.
