No. Houston is not a Gold Label race.

Cherono is one of the most consistent runner. He ran crazy fast in Amsterdam and two major wins. If he finish in top 2 then he is sure to get into Kenyan team for Olympics
I think Houston is gold label, top 5 place qualified Scully for Tokyo.

Scullion is qualified unless 2 other Irishmen run under 2:11:30, which is extremely unlikely.

Your link would show you are correct. Can't find where it showed Houston listed as Silver. Possible Houston was recently upgraded for 2020? Maybe he accepted the Boston spot prior to Houston and will now take a pass. Or maybe he's enjoying the prize money available while running well.
More Americans will be announced once they don't qualify for the Olympics.
Boston is more interesting in non Olympics years , where the race director rigs the field and limits Africans . Just like the LPGA Solhiem Cup, that blocks the top Korean players , so the participating white nations can say it is the best event in women's golf.

Just doing my research for the profiles thread: I am going for Desisa to reverse last year’s 1-2 finish. Third could be any one of seven, IMO. Women are a race for second. Winner of Osaka tomorrow could be a pointer.

Or up and coming guys like that guy who ran 2:14 in Chicago and 61:46 at Houston could collect a major payday at Boston. Why not?
If you're over 40, the masters prize money depth won't be affected.

The seven are three who placed in majors last year, three who won or ran quick times in smaller events, and a special debutant.
Degefa on the list. She just won Dubai wearing what appeared to be the outdated adios boost.
If she wears VFs for Boston, she really contend. What do you think?

Osaka didn’t reveal much: H.Tesfaye more disappointing than Assefa, but maybe neither deserve favouritism for runner-up in Boston. The times they ran weren’t the problem, the quality of marathoner they couldn’t beat was. Maybe 2.27.50 puts Haftamnesh out of the top five in Boston if no improvement comes.

Edna Kiplagat could be a chance, or Besu Sado?

Sure thing, happy to.
Houston is a Gold label race. Scullion is going to Tokyo unless another 2 Irishmen reach the standard then it will come down to selection, Scullion also won national title so should be a cert.
Don't think he will run Boston alluded to as much in his podcast.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
