You’re again missing the point that certified courses are further than 13.1 it’s about 13.2 which is where the 1:03:30 comes in. Again, I’m a fan of Jim, just not his colt.

Hard to really read into any of these prep races. If his HR data on Strava is in the ballpark he didn’t exactly bust his ass. None of the elites likely did.
If his GPS measurement of 12.93 were precise, that's 63:06 pace. The GPS reception looks pretty good, there are no jagged parts due to building obstruction like you see in Houston, so I'd guess that GPS measurement is accurate within 1% so 63-mid at worst. Well done Jim.

If anyone has access to the live-tracking link, they could probably have posted the results immediately, but it's not publicly advertised. I think someone in another thread said you can get them with the RnR app. It takes a while for RnR to publish official results on their own website though.

No, a certified course with the addition of the 0.1 percent short course protection factor would be 13.122 miles. I took a look at the track in the other thread, and the turnaround was off by 137 meters, or 274 meters short. If that's the only error in the course, at 4:50 pace, that's 49 seconds.
