I’m a sophomore boy in high school. I had my season opener rust buster today for the 1500m. I ran 4:28 (my pr is 4:21 from freshman year). My splits were 67, 2:20 (73), 3:30 (70) and 4:28 (58 last 300m). When i ran my 4:21, i ran 70s all the way with a 51 last 300m. If i had paced today’s 1500m more smartly, would it have made a difference? What could my time have been? My 800m pr is 2:03 if that helps. I also run 30-35 miles a week.
