Why would a Greek runner be listed as a USA runner?
LRC sour grapes. She decided to run for Greece instead of trying to make the US team in 2016, some people here don't like her because of that.
^^big Bravey fan ^^
Congrats to Michael Eaton for making the Trials Standard
2:34:26 for Pappas, a big PB for her. You can hate on her all you want but that appears to be a pretty nice breakthrough.
Anyone know if there is a half marathon replay available?
Dang. Reed Fischer might be a real contender for the US team. I don't like dumping on americans but that other poster is right, we should have more guys running close to 1 hour flat. But if you see the amount of guys we have running under 62...guys I've never heard of. Some of them will stick and have a breakthrough. Things are changing for the better.
Is the results website working for others? I can't get the Houston results page to pull up

Times don't matter. It only matter where they place when the field is is decked out in pogo shoes. 62 is their breakthrough.
Can someone help me fine more full results than top-20 US runners? I'd like to see who ran slower than 1:03.30's but under 1:06..

14 Americans under 62:00!
Not sure who was first though. Nico Montanez is listed as the top American in the overall results (61:34), but on the top American page, it says it was Jared Ward (61:36) with Reed Fischer next (61:37) and then Montanez (61:38).
Jared Ward 1:01:36
Dude, that is still far from an elite time. My friend had a huge breakthrough in a race recently, but that does not make him elite.

I think she is great too - any idea what shoes she was wearing? Makes a difference in terms of how we rank this performance.

Linkletter only 16 seconds off the Canadian record in his debut BTW...
Also Natasha Wodak nabbed the Canadian Record 69:41!
Anyone know what shoes she was wearing? Not sure AthCan is recognizing records set in vaporflys.

They said you can hate on her all you want.... glad you are taking that seriously.

Better than in her laughable first attempt, but still a bad time for someone who has run 31:36 before.

She's had some injuries but yeah, that's a horrible time.

Great, 20 minutes off world record pace!
Just 45 seconds per mile, she’s almost there.
Apparently, the unofficial world record in the father-son half marathon combo was set at the Houston half. Matt Leach (Peninsula Distance Club) ran 62:57, and his father Andrew Leach ran 71:10. Impressive runs for the Leach family!
