Well, I see something different in those stats.
I see a runner more than consistent in 2:04:xx, fantastic times for sure (for me the reference is Gebre with 2:03:59, it is something personal if you want, but after the fall of Kipsang only remains that very much surprising record of Kimetto) and, after 5 previous marathons and at that fantastic level (enough to reach his potential, i think, considering also his age at the time), he drops that times by a minute. And then by something else wearing the Next. And with the Alphaflys he goes 1:59 showing in the last k that he was in no way at his limit.
