They were hiding it !!!!!
I wonder how much money they put on!!!
Biggest pay day of the year for the two athletes?
????
Can’t believe I’ll be racing it and won’t be able to watch ?
The London organizers threw us for a bit of a loop when they didn't announce Bekele as part of the initial pro field earlier this week. But now it can be revealed: Kenenisa Bekele will race Eliud Kipchoge on April 26 in a battle of history's only 2:01 marathoners.
Kipchoge is 4-0 against Bekele in the marathon.

And Bekele is 13-3 on the track and Xc.
If Bekele has his Berlin shape, it will be a great show down and I think he would win. Fingers crossed he came in the same shape or better.
Meh. Wake me up when they get Walmsley
This will be epic!
The EPO fumes will be staggering!!
The trailing fumes will likely impact even the 5 hour runners, and now Gretchen from Manchester will be able to lower her PB by 1 1/2 hrs.

He obviously wouldn’t sign up if he wasn’t in shape. This is his best and last chance to win. No more excuses if he doesn’t. And you’ve beaten a dead horse with that track and XC stat. No one cares.
What shoes will they wear?
Bekele will push Kipchoge to the first 1:58.
Can't wait for it!!!
Not interested in either of these two. Is there a full list of elites now?

Agreed. Two boring dudes with pogo shoes and shady connections. Way more interested in seeing how my fellow Japanese do.
Farah will take them both.
Yes!
Bekele pls! We...
Expect Great Things✔️™️
If Kipchoge loses, LetsRun will declare a holiday. That’s how much you folks are rooting against him and other Kenyans. But we’re like: “bring it”. Victory tastes better when they don’t want you to win.

Everyone cares, man. Don't let being a fanboy turn you into another internet moran.

Kipchoge is *the* Vaporfly poster child... He has benefitted more than anyone wearing every variation imaginable including the Flyprint and Alphafly versions.
I like Skinny Bekele’s odds in a low stack Streak 7.
