When I read that a Kenyan athlete jumped out of a window and then vaulted a fence to escape drug testers I began to see why Kenyans typically excel at cross-country. Impossible to catch and avoiding obstacles comes naturally.

why many Kenyan 3000m steeplechase runners have poor technique when they jump over those hurdles? Are they only used to jump down?
I have no idea about the name of the athlete who jumped out of the window. But what I do have for you is that the female equivalent of Kipsang has been busted. It's not the current world record holder - watch this space, kids (it's massive)...
^ That one, I’ll agree is heartbreaking. Let’s wait and see.
Did this not happen before in the last 5 to 12 years?

Think poor Kenny is going through the 5 stages of grief when it comes to his beloved Kenyan distance running.
Only acceptance to go now.

Nah. There are too many to root of, even if we have soft spots for some.

Ok fair enough.
Not a great attitude to take though. You don't care how many get busted because there will always be plenty more dodging their way around the testing as long as they can?
That might be the beginning of acceptance to be fair, and a strong indicator of how you live your life on a moral level.
Top tier are the most tested in the world. And ADAK would never try to to protect them if they were fishy.

Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better.
Would recommend it, your hysteria over the last couple of days has been worrying. Perhaps time for another break?

I’ve made peace with the fact that I have no power to force unsavoury types out of Kenya. He should, however, ask himself why he’s so keen on staying in a country, with a people, he resents so much. It’s like me moving to the U.K. and never wanting to leave.

Can't be that massive, for we already have Kipsang, Sumgong and Jeptoo. No one will be shocked by one more Kenyan marathon star getting busted.

Catching and exposing a cheat is never heart breaking.

We’re at the most painful part. The busts will taper off and eventually end, trust me. Then you lot will have nothing left to complain about.

Has he hit the bottle yet?

You mean Kenyans will stop doping? There is optimism and then there's plain wishful thinking,
He needs to at least stick to his 'Dragon Lady' persona here for a while.
Best would be to take a break from this site completely until after Tokyo. Maybe all of the top Kenyans will have been busted by then. True, new doped up Kenyan stars will appear,to replace them, but hopefully they will be caught quickly, like Kiptum, before El K has a chance to get emotionally tied up with them.
In the meantime, he can rant and rave as big bad black woman Cleopatra on Twitter (and send DMs to George).

You’re fooling no one, Cleopatra is either you or Trollism. And I don’t understand your obsession with George. Is it the same as the one with Jakob Ingebrigtsen when he was 16? I thought we knew you, Coevett/Cleo.
Anyway, Coevett and Stablemaster are racists obsessed with Kenya and both can’t seem to let go. One insists on living there hoping his dream of owning a “stable” of black African runners will one day become reality. The other uses Google alerts to read every single story about the country that put an end to the brief heyday of British running. Poor things, you.

No, I mean the minority of dopers would’ve been weeded out.
Look. If you're a fan of British running who have, what, like one star every decade (Radcliffe & Farah) either being busted would destroy you. Kenya, on the other hand, has an embarrassment of riches, always spoilt for choice. Too many to root for, with many others waiting in the wings. If people really believed Kenyan distance running is a myth, they'd stop travelling to train, American college coaches would stop recruiting and sketchy mercenaries like Stablemaster would leave the country for somewhere else.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
