I wonder if Bruce Willis's career or social life has suffered. Or Michael Jordan.
Or Benjamin Franklin,..wait, never mind.
Some people look worse with (fake) hair.

I shaved two years ago. It's like a 100lb weight off of your shoulders after the adjustment. Better for running as well IMO
I envy those that can go to the pool without wearing a swimming cap, (and also be a living ad for you know what).
As my bald friend's bald dad always said, "Doesn't matter if you're bald. When you're handsome, you're handsome."
I experienced a slow loss starting when I was about 25. It was kinda torturous watching my beautiful locks disappear over time. I started shaving my head a couple years back (at about 35). It was a good decision. No more getting out of the shower and staring in the mirror, trying to style things "just right," and never being happy with the reflection looking back at you.
Sure, I miss the days when I had a radical head of hair, but life goes on. You can evolve your style and aesthetic to suit the new look.

I've been bald since I was 21. Never bothered me much.
It's all about how you feel. Love yourself first.
I did have one girlfriend who tried to get me to use Rogaine. That stuff makes you looks like a stooge, horrible patchy fuzz. Don't go near it.
Anyway, I dumped her!
I do fine with romance. All you gotta do is listen. #1 trick.
And be friends.
And find that magic button and WORK IT.
There is all kinds of cure on FB feed. Try it.

Yep. Couldn't tell until just recenty.
Although I saw signs of receeding hairline at temples at 30 as did my barber, it just took forever. World record slow hairloss I guess.
Hit a mature hairline at age 40 and at age 52 achieved Norwood IIA- no vertex. I am sure I will hit Norwood III by 65. It is just a very, very slow process. Perhaps at this stage I could look into something like Finasteride as long as there isnt any side effects.
Short of a hair transplant, this is your best bet:
Use shampoos with a DHT blocker
Use shampoos with ketoconazole
Apply minoxidil twice per day
Hey.
Nobody wants it.
But really. No biggie. It's not painful. In no way limits what you can do and how well.
Buy generic maximum strength Rogaine. It slowed my hair loss considerably. Just apply to where it is pulling back twice a day.

I hope to be like this guy but if it happens it happens.
try minoxidil
Started showing signs of balding when I was like 20. Whatever. Starting shaving on a regular basis and got over it.

That isn't the result of hair loss. Look to your personality - as in most things.
very few men look good with a shaved head. Just cut it short and desperately hang on until the last strand.
