I've been trailing the Pegasus turbo 2 and wow, my legs are feeling much fresher compared to my usual shoes (Boston boost). Could this be a honeymoon period or is zoom x the real deal?

You're like 2-3 years late with that question
And - zoom flys are even better.

I didn't think the original zoom flys were that great, but the zoom fly 3 is very squishy!
Yeah man, I've only been running for 18 months.
I thought the zoom fly 3 was purely react foam?

Not Zoom X foam though
Doesn’t matter. Better and cheaper shoe.
i tried multiple training day in the Fly's.......killed my calves.
they dont have the x foam bu they are cushioned.
I want to try the turbo.

I'm the exact opposite. Never felt much better the next day than I do in my Bostons.
Yes! I have experienced similar satisfaction with the Turbo 2.

Doubt it was the shoes.
Next week I am trialing the zoom fly 3. Ordered them in white / atmosphere grey.
It is honeymoon period

The Boston Boost 6 & 7 are two of the greats.
Ran in the zoom fly 3 this morning.
These shoes are big and bulky. They also feel bottom-heavy and heavy in general when running. It takes effort to get good foot speed.
Still ran a surprisingly good tempo pace, which was confusing.
The react foam didn't feel particularly bouncy. The whole feel was muted, probably because the stack height is huge.
IMO the pegasus turbo 2 and adidas boston are far superior.
Try the ZF FK. They are bouncy as heck and feel softer than the T2’s IMO.
