Any suggestions on a training plan for me I run a 5:03 mile this indoor szn 2:16 during outdoor and 10:34 3k during this indoor szn. I am mainly focused on the mile
My current plan is
monday- speed work/intervals
tuesday- long run
wed-easy
thurs-tempo run or speed day. my tempos only are 6:45 pace for 20 min tempos
friday-easy 30 min
saturday-race
sunday-off
so far I’ve pr’d 5 seconds compared to outdoor where I ran - 5:07 1600m
My goal is to break 4:50 by the end of outdoor
