Says 46.8 after an 8 mile run which doesn’t sound right but hey more power to him if it’s true. He is racing the 600 on Saturday at UW.

Isn’t Brian Sell like 41 years old!
Glad to hear that he’s making a comeback!
No he’s the guy who got kicked outta Houston and ran in junior college
Bump.
Is Brian still with Big Bear TC? I haven’t seen anything from him since he did an indoor race at Boston.
Can't believe Big Bear TC would associate with this guy. He's an egomaniac with a persecution complex, and he's never going to be that fast.
His Jan 2020 600m was 1:22.70. OOF
Didn't know anything about this guy so I looked him up. Besides what others have already found, I also saw this;
He beat Donovan Brazier at NB Indoor Nationals in 2015, running 1:50 indoors.
He ran 1:47 in 2016 as a freshman in college. Still his PR. Ran in the U20 Champs for USA (it exists). Made it to NCAA Nationals and got 19th in the prelims.
He ran 1:52 in 2019.
He clearly has an ego/maturity problem, with evidence going all the way back to 2012, sharing crude and sexually explicit (and underage) photos on his instagram. Really no excuses for that, and the fact he hasn't deleted them proves it is still a problem for him.
He is in Big Bear Track club still as they haven't removed him from their IG. No updates on him since before his January 600m race.
Seems he got on the map primarily because of that U20 meet and the controversy at Houston. Hasn't done anything remotely impressive since 2016 so I don't expect him to be "back". 800 is loaded with talent and he isn't.
It's a shame he continues to mess up these opportunities for himself. I'm from the same area as him and he was easily the most talented runner I've ever been around (including Sam Prakel and Clayton Murphy who lived in the area). From what I've heard he had a pretty rough upbringing, and most of the trouble he's gotten into definitely stems from that. Just hoping that he is able to get things rolling because he's way too talented to let it go to waste.

Hopefully I have this right. He did not have a qualifier for the championship section of the 800. He split 1:50 or under the night before and they allowed him into the final based on that. Then he turns around and wins the whole thing.
