That's what I was thinking. Those 300s are phenomenal.
I've done a wide variety of workouts, and I've probably forgotten about some horrible days.
So far these are what I can remember
- Track workout: 20x200m at goal 800 pace, jog back across the field, and in sets of 4 with rest in between. Feels like the 5 stages of grief.
- XC workout: 8x1k at 5k goal pace, 3-minute rest in between. Sounds feasible but it was incredibly humid outside and that made it much more difficult.
-Track workout: 8x400 at PR 800 pace, rest varied on how fast the other groups finished. After 7 I ended up in the designated "puke corner." Don't eat too much peppermint bark on a workout day, mi amigos.
-XC workout: 10mi run, but it was so hot and humid that the coaches would only let us run on an 800m loop so they could keep an eye on us in case of an emergency. That loop went through our course's main hill, so we had to go up and down that hill 20 times.
