LSU Cancels Classes for Two Days

They’re all still drunk. Nobody would show up anyway.

All that money spent on sports, and the rest of us have been bailing out New ORleans since rain storm Katrina since 2005. The Congo is better managed and less corrupt.

LSU is like Clemson, FSU, Alabama, etc. Education is an oxymoron in those schools and many others. LSU, Clemson and SMU are the biggest jock factories in history!

In-state tuition is $11,962 ($28,639 out-of-state) at LSU. A semester is usually 16 weeks when you exclude one week for spring break. 16x5 = 80 days of classes. 11,962/80 = 150, thus, one day costs an in-state student $150 ($358 out-of-state).

I think it's outrageous to cancel classes for this reason. People pay a lot to get an education there, but in those two days they are not getting what they are paying for.

I don't get why students at a school even root for their teams anyway. It's not like it's really their fellow students out there battling against the student-athletes of another university. It's just a collection of random jocks from all over who want nothing to do with them, except maybe to beat them up or rape them at campus parties. The jocks only chose that university because the recruiters did a good job of setting them up with prostitutes and convincing them they'd have to do very little academically for 4 years.

The students should be reinbursed for two days.
