It's called the World Series. Until somebody is capable of putting on an event with better talent.

ESPN article talking about the five biggest losers from this whole situation...and it mentions a few of the things I did in my post, like how the $5 million is nothing to the Astros (ESPN points out that not paying the salary of the Coach and GM will easily cover this!)

Are they not going to have a new coach and GM? Or will they work for free?
I stand by my commentary. Also, using electronics doesn’t make it “more bad” than not using them. That’s false morality. A batter knows a pitcher’s likely pitches. A pitcher knows the pitches batters are likely to struggle with. Knowing a fastball is coming and hitting it are two different things. You would probably know the fastball is coming without the signal. Also, (sarcasm font) baseball teams never change their signals when they suspect they’ve been stolen. And they’d never consider changing them at a key moment in the game. Also, (more sarcasm font), teams like, I don’t know let’s say the Rockies, have never worked to develop unbreakable codes. But yeah, I don’t know what I’m talking about.

You just keep digging down further into stupid.
If baseball is so predictable that everyone knows a fastball is coming in certain situations, then pitchers would just throw changeups in those situations.Kind of like Felix Hernandez did in his prime. It worked.
Yes there a few situations when it's pretty easy to guess right, but even then the pitcher still has an option of mixing it up for surprise element.
There's a huge difference in knowing if a fastball is probably coming in some situations vs knowing for sure in ALL situations.
It's like cards. I could go to Vegas and have someone let me know what the next card was. I'd probably still not do as well as you'd think. Why? Because I'm not a professional poker player.
I wouldn't then go on to proclaim that having foreknowledge of the next card is not helpful.
that would be moranic.
