Ha! I saw Throw Rag sometime in the Aughts, opening up for either Rev. Horton Heat or Split Lip Rayfield in a smaller, local venue. I should say that the last SLR show I saw was Kirk Rundstrom's final tour with them as he was off cancer drugs and going out in style. He absolutely shredded. That was a bittersweet blast to attend. Almost every RHH show has been good fun, too. Beck at Red Rocks a couple years ago was great and Bonobo there was better.

Sun Ra Arkestra- The Stables Bar, E. Lansing, MI 1975
Tony Williams Lifetime, Birmingham Palladium, Birmingham MI, 1971, with this short-haired guitarist I had never heard of, John McLaughlin.
MC5, Stooges - Detroit
Hendrix - Toronto
Trower - Detroit
Frank Marino - Windsor
Ernie Isley - somewhere in Detroit
I saw the Who at Southfield High School's gymnasium, with opening bands the Prime Movers and the Amboy Dukes (with Ted Nugent before he went crazy). True story.

I presume you followed McLaughin to Mahavishnu. And did you see Zappa before or after he was pushed off stage in London?
Gonna add another one as I was just thinking rock (and the like) concerts:
Violinist Itzhak Perlman - in late 70s. That was insane.
KISS: 1977
Ted Nugent: 1977
Boston: 1978
REM: 1982
Red Hot Chili Peppers: 1986
D. Boon died before I saw the Minutemen live. Saw Firehose a few times, but not the same. Would have like to have seen Sue Tissue before she went underground. The Golden Bear and Safari Sams are long gone.

Summer Sanitarium Tour, Summer 2003. Turner Field in Altanta (Braves field).
I was only 20.
The lineup:
Deftones
Mudvayne
Linkin Park
Limp Bizkit
Metallica
I was three rows from the rail. biggest mosh pit ive every seen. I was sheltered so this was eye opening.
When Limp Bizkit played "Break Stuff" I thought the stadium was going to collapse.
None of them are my favorite bands, but that entire concert was madness.
Here's a few: Aerosmith 1976 The Omni, Atlanta The Clash 1979 The Agora Ballroom Atlanta Talking Heads 1982 LA Palladium Steve Ray Vaughn and Jeff Back Capital Center DC 1989 Pearl Jam August 2016 Fenway
