So the common consensus is that Joshua cheptegui is the best distance track runner out there right now, then today Rhonex Kipruto ran 26:24 to SMASH the road 10k.
Mo farah isn’t going to win a gold in the 10k. And with kipchoge and Bekele, he isn’t going to win the marathon.

Mo Farah is SCREWED

He could still go further down and race the 5000m
OUUUH nooo nooo, Mukthar Edris, the Mobot slayer, is still there to crush him. -
Geb couldn’t win a third Olympic 10,000.
Neither could Bekele.
Farrah hit his prime older than them.
What makes anyone think he would win a third.
If he does it’s just gravy. -
Anything he wins, even if he medals, it is icing on the cake with his illustrious career.

Starting off with not making it out of the semis in Beijing. It's a true miracle. -
He isn't screwed. I mean, I absolutely dislike Mo and would love to see him lose, but it just won't happen. You should realise Rhonex ran 26:44 before (and I don't even think that was as impressive as his 27:01 at Peachtree) and he still was chanceless in the race for gold for Doha as he has zero kick. Cheptegei might be the better track runner (after all he was able to outkick Kejelcha for whom the distance was already too long), but do you seriously think Mo is scared? Mo would easily have won the 10000m in Doha last year and he will easily win the Toyko 10000m this year
-
Chepetgei closed the last lap slightly faster in Doha than Farah did in 2017.
Cheptegei won't do the same mistake he did in 2017 next time, he won't let Farah lead at 400 with 2-3 deadwood Kenyans between them to create a gap. -
Kipchoge and Bekele are the least of Mo's concerns in the marathon. A time under 2:05 would be a start.
-
Mo knows the race will be contested in August, not January. It's not his first rodeo.
-
I would absolutely love to see a 10,000m final where Rhonex Kipruto and Joshua Cheptegei take it out hard to try and break Farah and run away from eachother. Add in Kejelcha and you have a very exciting race.
Neither of the two road runners has a kick so they would need to make it fast. Maybe a winning time under 26:30? -
Farah is continually underestimated on these boards.
It doesn't matter if it's a 26:50 race or a 28:00 flat race. Farah mercilessly cucks Cheptegei and Rhonex in the final 800 meters. Also, 50/50 chance Rhonex tests positive before Tokyo. -

Nah. Mo is old and Rhonex is the future. So like an over the hill Kipsang I would expect Mo to be more likely to get busted. -

This. -
Expect tony the tiger to show back up talking $hit again before Tokyo. He's been conspicuously absent after mo getting his backside handed to him in London. It has been refreshing.

Mo Farah is SCREWED, but it has nothing to do with future gold medals.
Just wait for it. -
many posters need to consider if they are losers.
most guys are negative.
guy runs a great time and somehow it's bad for someone else.
say something nice.
