Does anytime have any 3200 workouts I can try?
I’ve been doing 3x1600 with 4 min rest at around 5:15 pace, but I feel like that’s more of a 5k workout. I want to run sub 10 this track season.
Background information:
My 5k pr this cross season was 16:37 (last year was 18:23)
My 3200 pr last track was 10:45
My 1600 pr last track was 4:53
My 800 is 2:12 and my 400 is 59
I run on average between 35-45 miles a week with a 10 mile long run usually somewhere from 6:20 to 6:55 pace.
During the season I run all 7 days of the week, but during the off season I’ll take Sunday’s off and usually hit the elliptical
My goal for the 1600 is sub 4:40 if that helps! Please and thank you!
