This time a Tennessee Titans player slaps a cameraman’s butt, among others, after the team’s surprise victory over the Baltimore Ravens Saturday night. Thus far, no outrage. Evidence of another double standard?

Yes, a well known double standard that any sane person can easily understand and accept.

Exactly. The intent was very different . I don't see this guy up for assault charges although the cameraman didn't look happy.
I've got to give it to the original poster for finding this clip in light of the news woman on the bridge incident.

I also agree but I am wary of the new age we live in now. I have never been the butt slapper type anyway.
I don’t accept or give any contact to my athletes past the fist pump. It works out. It’s not necessary anyway to go around grabbing, patting, and touching people.
This is absolutely a double standard. But it's okay, because NFL players are permitted to commit violent acts on and off the field.
The obvious answer is that a MAN would rather die than play victim to such an innocuous act. A woman however...

Is it because those professional league players like to wear a gun too. So if you complained, they would start shooting in a locker room or stuff?
I thought about posting this on Letsrun as soon as I saw this live.
He slapped him pretty hard.
Stop ur whining . Notice how it was not a woman slapping a mans butt. Curious how that is isn’t it?
Men were the perpetrators in both incidents therefore men are the problem.

Was the intent really different?
Intent in both seems to be making a joke
well American men never realize when they are violated or mutilated. Its because they are a bit dumb
I seen it live and thought, did he really just randomly slap that's persons butt along with a few others? LOL. If the camera person was a woman she would put on a historical media setup act, "OMG I scarred for life he slapped my ass. I'm entitled to millions of dollars wahhh." Definition of double standard right there.
It’s not just this though, for example at work women at the office are always touchy feely and as a guy you’d sound ridiculous complaining. On the flip side if you did this to them you’d end up in HR.

If you truly believed this and you had any semblance of a backbone, you would report all such women to HR. But, alas, you don’t so you won’t. Don’t fault others for your own weaknesses, dude.
This is NOT an example of a double standard at all. A double standard here would be if a FEMALE slapped the butt of a MALE and there was no outrage.
If this cameraman was a known out gay man and it was clear that the player knew about it, then the cameraman might have a case to make for some sort of sexual assault or harassment if he wanted to, but that still would not be a double standard. Would ONLY be a double standard there if the cameraman were upset about it and no one gave a damn.
Again, a double standard here would be if a FEMALE slapped the butt of a MALE and there was no outrage.
Yeah, I saw this. I thought he got two butts back to back (he hit another butt before he got the cameraman)
Was it big and round??
Every time you slap a woman's butt a Corona gets its lime!
