Ahh, the story goes on and on, and this proves that the Rossi thread was the thread of the 2010s.
Was there any ACTUAL evidence that he cheated?
Editor's note: Yes. Read this:
Behind these marathon cheaters is some pretty serious mental health issues. Publicly calling out cheaters is necessary for the integrity of the sport. But someone needs to make sure that the cheaters are getting the mental health services they need.
Boston Marathon cheater
Technically he didn't cheat at[b/] the Boston Marathon. He cheated to get there. He cheated to try and prove he didn't cheat. But the actual Boston effort was legit.
did I miss any other cheating efforts by our boi?
Sounds like Eagles game watching party gone awry.
I feel bad for his wife and kids. Didn't post bail though, that says something.
I feel sorry for him. I also marathon PRd by 50 minutes also and was missed by all the photographers and timing mats. Hate when that happens!
Thread reported.
I wonder what the story is. Upper Gwynned is about a half hour drive from Abington where Rossi lived when he became infamous. Did the domestic disturbance involve his wife?

Agree, but it makes it hard when the cheaters nearest and dearest are also in denial and support them, which is what usually happens.

Yes, someone does need to make sure that Mike Rossi gets the mental health services he needs. That person is Mike Rossi.
Dude's an adult. He can make his own doctor's appointments.
Rossi fled Abington Township, sold his home and moved into an apartment.

I heard it was a Hostel but same same I guess
no way
Mike has been in trouble plenty. He already previously assaulted his wife. He needs incarceration. He has threatened many, some seriously.
He doesn't need sympathy, he needs to be out of society.
This is the guy that the Via Marathon enabled. Hope they are proud of doing nothing.
Funny thing is I actually did PR like that.
My first marathon was 4:08 and my 2nd marathon was 3:25
From that photo I thought it was Lance Armstrong.

Exactly. Giving him a DQ a year later would have cured his alcohol problem and stopped him from assaulting his wife. Via Marathon's hands have blood on them!
Truly amazing. We'll never see his equal.

It would have been justice. It may have served as a wake up call. Obviously doing NOTHING and enabling his behavior was a big help. Those would could do something stand by and this is indeed the result.
But apparently Karma has had a better plan for him, one richly deserved and then some.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
