Happy New Year. Tipping an upset among the men. Deme Tadu Abate is 22yo and ranked 69. Ran both Hamburg and Amsterdam both the last two years with differing results, more soon.

Can you post all the names? Or send a link to elite fields.
No, he can’t, because he likes to feel superior by being the only one in “the know” with this insider, publicly-available information.

Last year won Hamburg in 2.08.25 then sixth in Amsterdam in his PB of 2.06.13. 2018 saw him come second in Amsterdam in 2.06.54 after 7th in Hamburg, 2.06.47.
What's their drug protocol 2 weeks out?
Worknesh Degefa only needs to be near her best to cope with the other ladies in this field. There is no Ruth C. here. Degefa was second here last year and won Boston.

following is my copy from mt year end ranking thread:
That leaves Worknesh Degefa as third this year. 29yo and ranked 9. Second in Dubai where Ruth got away from her after 35k to win by 33 sec but she still was sub 2.18 and more than 3 min ahead of all the others. She then crushed the field in Boston in 2.23.31, already leading by 2.27 at halfway.
Soloman Deksisa may be second over the line. A history of minor placings and one win on fast courses. PB of 2.04.40 when third in 2018 at Amsterdam. Second there this last Oct in 2.05.16. Won Hamburg in 2018, 2.06.34 and second at Rotterdam 2016 in 2.06.22. He is 25yo and ranked 11.
Second woman should be Alemu Megertu, born 97 and ranked 34. Breakthrough in April with win in Rome in 2.22.52, taking 5.16 off her prev. best. Then amazing fourth in the Copenhagen half in 66.43 without any previous form at that distance. In October, second in Frankfurt in 2.21.10. At halfway that day, was in a peloton of five in 69.25 chasing Jemeli, already 1.43 behind.

Ok, thanks
Third to finish might be Seifu Tura, 22 yo and ranked 61. Best time: here in 2018, seventh in 2.04.44. Was with the leaders in Tokyo last year at halfway in 62.03, but dropped out after 35k: already three min behind leader Legese. Finished sixth in Chicago in 2.08.35.
Third woman could be Dera Dida, 23yo and ranked 124. PB of 2.21.45 set here when 7th in 2018. No marathon in 2019, fifth in Frankfurt 2018 in 2.22.39.
Note the List will grow. This is NOT the entire Elite List.

Thanks
Abera Kuma’s name is off the list already. I may have been wrong where he chose to go.
Next finisher may be Andualem Shiferaw, 27yo and ranked 32. Won three over the classic distance last year, all under 2.09. Quickest was Lisbon in Oct in 2.06.00. In 2015 was tenth here in a sec under 2.10.
