Hands down the Mike Rossi debacle is the greatest thing ever posted in this forum.
I read the entire thing. It consumed hours of my life, and it was awesome.
Except for when Kenneth Stillman died. That was sad. I donated $100 to his kid. It speaks to the depth of my commitment to the story.
It would make a compelling book, starting with his media friend whats-her-name being the only one to congratulate Rossi on his BQ when he kept it quiet even though he usually posted his every bowel movement on social media. Then Rossi ends up calling her names, publicly calls her little kid out by name and says the kid's father isn't his real father. So many twists in the story.
The saddest Ken part was when Rossi got media friends to set up the fake game show for Ken only to bring out his jilted customers to confront him. Devastating. Ken sorta deserved it after arrogantly saying his only downfall was his perfectionism and he's such a wedding video genius that his customers should be happy to get anything even if it's years later. Oh, and Rossi calling Ken's kid a "gimp".
Rossi's cheating - in one race just to get a "once in a lifetime" BQ - would rank about #42,563 on worst cheating episodes, but the whole epic story has to be #1.
Unfortunately, the last months (year?) of the thread were complete crap.
