I like both Turbos, especially the 2s, but they really do not last. I've never had a shoe feel so flat after so few miles. And I'm the kind of guy that normally tries to get close to 1000 miles out of my shoes (I got close to 2000 out of a pair of the original Adidas Energy Boosts, until the eyelets were all ripped and it was impossible to lace them). After 250 miles or so, the Turbos feel like they just compress too easily with each step. Sort of like you're stepping on a really thin piece of furniture cushion foam. In a way, it's worse than when EVA dies, because then you can at least feel that you're not getting any cushioning and modify your footstrike accordingly. I feel like the Turbos trick you into thinking that you're going to get a nice soft landing, but instead you just bottom out and hit the ground hard.
