Agreed. Eddie Gallagher served his country bravely as a SEAL and yet you can’t even run in a legitimate fashion

Would have loved to; would have been much easier. But the Queensbury track was a sheet of ice, so wasn't a realistic option.
Also, do real men post under multiple usernames to make it look like someone else agrees with them? You know I can see your IP address and posting history, right?
I'll steer this somewhere positive.
Steve...use this as motivation. I have four kids, and have watched many of my old running friends use "life" as an excuse to stop running.
You're proof of what I always say; it doesn't take much. Commit to 5 days of running per week, and at least 15 minutes at each session. Try to run "long" once a week, and "quick" once a week. Then, the first perfect day in february, go run 449.
You may find your old motivation.
The best thread this year!

Good callout Steve, I hate people who do things like that! Show em good! You refuse to change the format of the anonymous message board and then blame the users for taking advantage of that format!
What's the equivalent of a 5 minute mile for a woman?
5 minutes

It’s telling that you think these posts were written by a man and not a woman

You realize this is a violation of the law to do this for fun?

Can any lawyers weigh in?

Super slick polished concrete. Dusty kind of. I measured the first 200 and ran a stride to find pace and said to him "We might not be able to do this." Turns were sharp, and the surface sucked.
I'd guess on a good day outside, we better surface, Steve would be closer to 4:50ish.
Steve measured the day before. I ran with the wheel again during the warmup to double check marks.
I believe that this was a good faith measurement and effort, but was the wheel calibrated (or were 2 different wheels used with matching results)?
Steve should run it outside on a track as soon as the weather is reasonably good to keep the streak going and shut up the haters.
We have bad news to report. Discuss it in the new thread:
