My bet is on whatever the name will be of Pete Julian's new group. I will spot Brazier 3 world Oly medals on GP in the next five years.

I am rooting for every Tinman athlete, but the answer is no.
Not gonna be the best w/o an onsite coach.

Do you guys really see Tinman Elite being one of the best pro teams? Discuss.
No idea but the NN Running Team is by far the best pro team.
I have watched a few Tinman Elite team videos but they are chaotic. I don't think that they have a professional attitude. It looks like they are living in a disorganized fraternity house. Some structure and professional attitude is needed if they wanted to become a pro team and they need a manager, a Jos Hermens type of guy to sign the deals with sponsors and race organizers. Hopefully they can do it.

Who are you talking about??
Three things:
1) You have to be paid to be pro. Only one guy has a contract.
2) Bowerman Track Club
3) ADP/WCAP
As for teams now, this is where 80% of your Olympians will come from.
Look at the headline. Really look at it. Read, think, and realize that the word "next" is in there. It doesn't mean currently, nor even previously. Also consider the term "thinks." In context, it means to believe, to have a vision in which they've collectively placed their faith. It doesn't mean proven beyond any doubt, it doesn't mean apparent to any and all observers.
That is all, carry on.
"Next" often means never...
And "Thinks" is often delusion.
But best of luck, guys!
And "maybe" means none of us can know for sure right now. You don't have to think they have a chance yet there's nothing truer than the fact that what you think doesn't matter at all in this.

At least three have Adidas contracts.

Shoes and a race kit is not a contract
Tinman should set up distance dual meets against some of the other clubs. I think that would be a pretty cool thing for American track and field to have these teams go head up. BTC vs WCAP vs Tinman and any other good team. The events can be 800, 1500/mile, 5k, and a relay. Maybe a DMR or 4xmile for the relay.
Of course Tinman would get absolutely destroyed.
Tinman Elite stoke my wife, took my kids, and kicked me out of my own house
Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why they don’t allow females?

What a joke. Can't they talk about anything but themselves?
Tinman Elite is an embarrassment to this sport and this country.
You are wacked out of your gourd! Talk about themselves? It was a FRIGGIN' INTERVIEW!! Someone who happened to be a professional journalist took whatever he/she (I haven't looked) recorded during an interview session and, and is ALWAYS DONE, excerpted from it to put together a fine piece of writing.
It's not like the Tinmen directed the writer to produce a piece to toot their own horn!
Tinman Elite is ANYTHING BUT an embarrassment to this sport and this country. MORAN!
Hey, by the way, you don't get good if you don't believe in yourselves. Kudos to the Tinmen for having confidence to go along with their talent and their sense of fun and interaction!

Their coach has one of the most confusing explanations for his training philosophy:
Schwartz’s training focuses on what he calls critical velocity (CV), a hard but not-too-hard pace that improves the aerobic capacity of the fast-twitch muscle fibers responsible for endurance and sustainable intermediate speed. “Technically, CV is about 90 percent of VO2 max; but for the average runner, think of it as a few seconds per mile faster than your 10K race intensity,” says Schwartz, “or an effort that’s sustainable for 30 to 35 minutes.”
So using his training program I'm going to set a 10K PR every week? Isn't the goal to run fast in races?
If it does not use Lydiard basic principle's you can throw it out with the bathwater.
I admit I am also surprised "Hobby Joggers World," is still in existence.

You think you can defrock 75% of Boulder's pro/sponsored elite runners and triathletes with just one post on LetsRun? GTFO

Because they’re the running version of the Theban Sacred Band?

At least Drew Hunter and Sam Parsons have adidas contracts.

Where is it indicated that they don't allow females? As soon as a female shows up who can fulfill the role of Drew or Sam in forming a women's group, I'm sure Tinman Elite will have the beginnings of a female group. Until then, there aren't any sponsor-less women who can keep up with their existing training group in workouts or long runs. They already invited one who, for obvious reasons, didn't work out.
