How do you know we're "falling for fake story and fake HR response"?
The sagacity of LR posters amazes me at times, they're even able to identify anonymous posters sometimes, truly amazing.
...agree.
or "i am busy now"
You did not have to announce to your female co-worker that you sleep in the nude. You could have just said that you don't sleep in pajamas and move along. But you decided to bring up nudity within the context of speaking with a female co-worker.
Is he supposed to assume that this coworker is heterosexual?
So you were naked at your offices pajama party?
Yeah right, that sounds like a true story because nobody ever made up stuff on LR.
.
The fact that you think, in this day and age, that it is ok to bring up nudity (in any context) with a co-worker of the opposite sex really displays your clueless naïveté, at best, or your extreme stupidity, at worst.
I'm suppose to treat women differently than men?
Eff me, I was just getting use to treating them as equals.
I'm a guy, and i don't care to hear about your nudity, either.
But i don't believe your HR did anything of the sort.

This isn’t even a good story.
Agreed...I vote to impeach him as a troll.
Report her, what you sleep in is a personal and private matter.

Wall Street firms instruct male employees to NEVER, at all costs, be alone with a female coworker.
I work on Wall Street, and this is a complete lie made up by incel, misogynist losers.
OP do you have any idea what it's like to be a woman and get hit on in creepy ways all the damn time? Maybe you thought it was harmless and you were being honest or whatever but she was trying to have a conversation and that could definitely be taken as an awkward advance. Just think before you speak. It's not that hard. If you really weren't trying to be a creep, stop sounding off on LRC, talk to HR, and apologize to the woman, acknowledging you weren't trying to be a typical dude. They might drop it.
Out of curiosity, how many grown men even own pajamas? I think I was 10 when my mother bought me my last pair. It has never crossed my mind to buy myself a pair. Is there some way that they are more comfortable or attractive than one of the other options?
IE does not mean "for example"... IE stands for something that loosely translates to "In other words..." or "that is..."
EG means "for example".
If you need help remembering, just think: IE = In Essence (Note: it doesn't actually stand for "in essence", but what it does stand for loosely translates to "in essence", so it's just an easy way to remember it)
I'm sick of people getting this wrong.

(who TF thinks it's normal for adults to wear pajamas to bed)
I live in Minnesota.
So far this year the lowest temp at my house has been -8. Last year, I awoke on the coldest morning to a balmy -31.
On mornings like that, even in a well-insulated home, a pair of comfy flannel pajamas feels darn good (especially for the inevitable middle-of-the-night bathroom visit).

I hope you feel better now.
You left out the part where you took off your clothes to show her you could get into the spirit of the party
I would argue that the female coworker was leading him on. If she was smart enough to be hired, she would have been smart enough to put two and two together and determine in her head that if he didn’t sleep in pajamas then sleeping bide was a perfectly probable possibility.
