Air quality is horrible, mouth gets completely dried out during 1500/3k, even with proper hydration, could just be nerves but the quality is seriously bad, anyone have any tricks?

its winter time. air is dry inside and out. turn the heaters on and indoors is even worse than outdoors. This is why people run humidifiers in the winter time.
best you can do is hydrating ahead of time and throughout. maybe chapstick. chewing gum or sucking hard candy also stimulates saliva production. if you can handle running and chewing gum at the same time.

Thanks, Captain Obvious
Cough drops are nice, especially after the race. Other than that, maybe a lotion popsicle.
I never trained indoors, even for indoor track. So the only times I ran indoors were a handful of indoor meets in the winter The air sucked every single time, but I just sucked it up and didn't have any real issues. The only trick I've got is to run outside as much as you can and focus on outdoor season.

Seems about right. I get that feeling too.
