Shows that you can be jacked and still be a good distance runner

The pre-race uniform/spike check was trivial at best - so it would be interesting to know how any protest holds up. I’m assuming Tinman did indeed go through the uniform check and passed/got approval - I would not be surprised to hear that they went through check in and got approval even with uniforms that glaringly break the written rules.
Regardless if Tinman’s win gets vacated by a uniform rule due to a protest that another club puts in... it would be pretty hollow and pathetic.

That's not jacked.

not surprised. Top tier triathletes can run. Alex Yee is a UK triathlete and ran 27:51 for a track 10k at the age of 20.

He was a top-tier runner first. 3rd at NCAAs, and 13:43 before he ever took up triathlon.
To the lot of you debating about Tinman and their uniforms, a question needs to be asked - why did US Army only have 3 finishers in this one? In order - Hillary Bor in 5th, Lawi Lalang in 6th and Michael Jordan in 7th.
This alone adds 9 points to Tinman's score if they fielded a full team, and then you have to consider any of the other runners coming in before any of Tinman's remaining 3 finishers (their 3rd runner - credited with 5th on the team scoring - finished 13th overall).
I'm surprised I haven't seen more people being realistic here - who did Tinman Elite beat? What quality teams were actually in this race? I'm seeing a whole lot of dramatics over a weak field made up of mostly local running clubs.
Can somebody tell me what I'm missing here?
the USATF rules allow for variance in uniforms if there are sponsorship requirements to wear certain apparel.
tinman can have different jerseys but they must be approximately the same color and style (some wiggle room in the rules there).
shorts color doesn't matter
but somebody had to have protested within the time window for their non-compliant runners to get DQed.

Uhhh, you can't be more jacked than this otherwise MuttLondon 343 will come in here and say he has 3D shoulders.
Tinman elite is an embarrassment to this sport and country
A better title for this thread would be “Triathlete beats Olympic runner and former NCAA XC champion in cross country club nationals”. Tri-haters go home DEVASTATED. By over 30 seconds!
Hey Rojo, I'd like to be on the podcast. I should be going to work tomorrow, my creative projects have stalled.
