Allhis- hmmmmm. I think Flo had many elite t&f visitors which they all signed elsewhere. So you are saying that he had them all to visit but decided not to sign them?! You must think we are crazy or simply delusional. Okay carry on. Haha

“Not trying to win 4x1 or 4x4.” Sounds like something a loser kid says. What a load of horse manure. He is taking a lashing and you know it.
Exactly! Who’s not trying to win the most exciting thing about track and field? The relays!!!!
Texas girls have a leader in the 60 and in the 200. Seems like Flo has already starting making his mark. I think recruiting takes time. Most of the schools get top recruits because of the tenure of the coach. Look at the best recruiting class and the coach has probably been there 5+ years.
The most exciting thing in track is the team title. I’m pretty sure Texas Techs’s team didn’t mine losing wining the 4x100 and 4x400.
No one sticks around at a track meet after the 4x400
You are correct Texas/everybody (interchangeable) goes home way before the 4x4 because they didn’t make it and they damn sure aren’t gonna get a trophy
The spectators/fans are usually heading thorough their vehicles after the 4x400.
There are some people (mostly family members) who stays around watching the trophy ceremony.
I know that I’m just referencing someone who didn’t run a extraordinary time and developed into not only an 800 standout but developed quick foot speed for the 400m. My point being made is that get a kid with a good work ethic and a base of athleticism and develop them into the athlete that works for your team.
Nobody said that Flo is not a good coach. He’s a great coach! He just can’t recruit elite sprinters and hurdlers. Especially, sprinters!
The 800 guy than became a beast 400m athlete was recruited by Tonja Buford-Bailey at her staff prior to Flo! #Facts
He did land Sydney McGlaughlin, Kynnedy Flannel, and Tara Davis. Seems like some good sprinter recruiting there.
He recruited Sydney at KENTUCKY which she left...went pro and being coached at USC
Tara Davis is a hurdler and as of lately a long jumper
Tonja Buford-Bailey and staff initially recruited K Flannel.
Either a disgruntled ex-Texas coach is responsible for this thread (and most of the posts on it), or English grammar is no longer being taught in our schools.

English gardening- I am a successful accountant for an oil & gas (midstream pipelines). I am more than likely more successful than you “professor.”
Now let’s keep it on the topic of the bad recruiting at Texas.
But he still landed all 3. I would say that is pretty good in the last couple of years. Who did he lose that you can refer to?
No one mentioned about anyone who he has lost. Once again he has not recruited an elite sprinter!!!!
I think Flo’s success will speak for him and those top recruits will start to come to Texas. It has only been 1 year so I don’t think you could have expected a flood of top talent start banging on his door.
Out of curiosity. What kind of times do you consider an elite sprinter?
RayT- The sprinters who are ranked in the top 1-10 in the world.
Gotcha. Wouldn't a very small number of them be in a position to be recruited by the NCAA? I would think most if not all 1-10 are pro or already with another collegiate program.
