Among other sponsors, yes. So?
What has she accomplished for Nike?
When was her last race?
How has she made money for Nike?

The point I was making that you missed is that it is quite impossible for you to conclude that not one person has ever bought a Nike item because of Gwen. There is no way for you to know that.
Further, you seem to be one of those people that don't understand marketing and believe that only race results gets money for Nike. How many followers does Sean McGorty have? How many videos by Vanessa Fraser are shared and discussed?

If its Vanessa Fraser, then I agree with you!
The thing is you can't know until you try. We all thought Ritz was built for the marathon. Turns out he sucks at it (relative to his 5/10k/HM times). She had no way of knowing if she was going to be a 32 min 10k runner who runs a 2:25 marathon or if she was going to be a 32 min 10k runner who runs a 2:35. At this point is definitely seems like the later.
In any event she ran, she was going to need another break through (sub 15/ low 31/sub 2:25) to be a legit contender. Maybe her odds are better in the 5/10k. Maybe she thinks she can do that training without breaking down. Like all these athletes, I hope she gets 9 months of solid training in and gets to lay it all out on the track at the trials.

Name one runner (or anybody for that matter) who isn't crucified on here. Example - Sage Canaday. That guy actually posts on here, his goal is to run an OTQ, running a time he has actually run before, and he is constantly crucified. Are you saying that you believe that Sage is female and that's why he is crucified? Please explain?
Or better yet, just stop being an idiot.
Do you struggle with comprehension? Saying that outspoken women with big dreams are crucified here is not the same as saying that Sage is a woman because he is criticized on here. Go back to remedial everything.
As for an example of a runner who isn't attacked on here nearly as much as Gwen, I could list dozens. But let's start with Engels.
Engels is remedial

I don't get why it's so fun to hate on someone's dreams/aspirations and then misfortune. Gwen is a fantastic triathlete and runner. Her sweet spot in running does seem to be the 5k/10k. The 1500 and marathon are both loaded. She's definitely a contender for the 5k or 10k team. Gonna be tough for Bowerman with Infeld and Hall also going for the 10k. If Huddle or Sisson doesn't make the marathon team, the 10k will be an even tougher team to make. This adds another fun story heading into this summer. I'm gonna choose to be excited for her.
These constant posts about her are sneaky brand building efforts to try and get her sponsorships.
She should just stay home with Stanley and watch Paw Patrol and put some meat on them bones.

If I was Gwen I would stop making announcements. Just run on the track and keep the pie hole shut. You might have a chance to do well in the 10k, but time will tell.

Letsrun doesn't like outspoken women who dream big. Simple as that.
Saying you are going to win Olympic Gold in a different event is not dreaming big its being arrogant.
Even if you believe you can do it why tell everyone?

That’s the opposite of what a sponsor would want. You are clueless.

^this . It reminds me of the CrossFit bashing. Arrogant people from a different sport/activity making arrogant claims about their fitness/ability.

Engles has been trashed on here - for his stupid injuries doing outside sports, for joining NOP... at least your consistent with your stupidity and your inability to comprehend simple sentences. Quit while you’re ahead, idiot.
