While less well known, Rectify and the Leftovers are the two most devastatingly brilliant shows over the last 10 years. They both require patience and attention, but they pay off big time and both get stronger as they progress.
This is the only correct answer!
Have you tried maybe....reading a book

They're not mutually exclusive (although probably don't work so well simultaneously).
A few that haven't been mentioned yet:
Battlestar Galactica ( the remake, not the original cheesy 70s version)
The Expanse
The Marvellous Mrs Maisel
Babylon 5 (somewhat patchy, but worth it overall).
The West Wing
Altered Carbon
The Crown (although I'm not enjoying the 3rd season as much as the earlier ones).
Firefly.
If you liked Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul is highly recommend. Explains a lot.

Started watching it last night.
"The Wire" is a must if you enjoyed "Breaking Bad." Great story arc seen from a different perspective every season, superb acting across multiple fronts, deep character development, based on a true story (with some of the originals people playing cameos), and much more. Totally wowed, heartbroken, and saw for the first time the complexity of a problem that politicians and others love to present as black and white.
Chernobyl. Chernobyl. Chernobyl. Chilling.
Billions
"What good is FU money if you don't get to say FU once in a while?"
Damian Lewis excellent as usual. Just don't break the spell of his epic run of performances as an American (Band of Brothers, Homeland, Billions) by hearing him speak in his actual English accent.

Which one was that, The Emperor's New Clothes?
Best tv shows that come to my mind include:
The Wire (best by a long shot)
Rectify
Justified
True Detective season 1
Fargo season 2
The Bridge (Swedish versio)
The Killing (original Danish with subtitles and US remake)
Broadchurch
Hill Street Blues (older conventional series by the maker of The Wire, maybe the best network show of all time)
Firefly
Luther
That’s all I got off the top of my head, we watch a lot of TV and life is way too short for $hitty network shows.
In case it helps, I do read a ton also.
Read some book. It's better for your brain.
Cobra Kai is the best new program available. Amazon has it, albeit you need to pay $10 for each season.

I only watched Breaking Bad. I really liked it and got pretty addicted to it....the TV series, not the meth! I was thinking about watching The Americans. Is it good?
