You do not type like a current or former T&F athlete. If you ever were a track & field athlete, you were placed in Clydesdale event, 3200m. Everyone who was a really T&F athlete, someone who races 4 x100m or 4 x 400m relay (s) knows: Aged out 100m & 200m sprinters do not move up to 400m at age 30. Four-hundred metres is a young person event. Even if some elite 400m & 400mH athletes stay on top into their thirties, no one moves to 400m at age 30.

Apparently it’s better in your eyes to not even try to move up in distance at the end of their career and just quit, that somehow makes one a better runner.
