Can anybody recommend any android/samsung smartwatches that work well for running? I frequently read that most have inaccurate GPS, terrible battery life, etc... I currently have a Forerunner 35 and it's fine for just running, but I would love to pick up a real smartwatch without too many compromises.

Do you want a smart watch that does some fitness stuff or a fitness watch that does some smart stuff?
For the former go Apple, for the latter either Garmin or Suunto will work well. I personally fall into the Garmin camp.
Android wear watches will probably disappoint you no matter which side of the fitness/smart spectrum you fall on. -

This exactly. Garmin 945 has been amazing. Primarily a fitness watch with all the bells and whistles, but being able to take some AirPods and have all my music and podcasts on the watch has been a game changer. -
I have a Garmin fenix 5 and if I needed to buy a new smartwatch I'd buy the fenix 6. The features important to me are (a) wrist based heart rate monitoring (b) battery life long enough for 12 hour races (c) access to all the different satellites for the most accurate GPS location. The Garmin 935 is essentially a fenix watch in a plastic case

Try to look for Samsung Galaxy Watch Active (SM-R500). i had the same, but of course I prefer simple watches that smart. And I decided that the best variant for me is replica Rolex watches. I am pretty new to running and technology related to running, so I am always and looking for the best options. I have asked my friends, who are running for a longer period of time than me and each one has a different opinion. Some of them told me that I should buy this one, others that I should buy that one, and I am pretty confused. I've decided to look for some articles online.
