Wariner i think was under 150 breaking in, and Johnson's 175 reflects the reality that the best sprinters are much lighter than urban myth states.
a 175 pound sprinter has more muscle mass than a 210 pound dude in other sports. it is all powerful muscles.
elG and coe were 128 ish, implying that the smaller men have the optimal weight.
elG and coe had strong and well developed muscles in the exact right places, one should note.
distance training atrophies even butock, hamsring and quads, calves, through catabolixm and overuse, and coe-elg training methods had the quality in it to keep some key muscle mass in the critical areas.
you are talking only a couple of pounds of beef in the asss and legs.
it is easy to put on this mass with the right training, and this will be recognized, is recognized moving forward.
