It doesn't pay that much with a very limited budget for staff and very limited number of scholarships. Also no facilities.
Western Carolina ad does not say for sprints and proof they have started interviews for Xavier.

Pretty safe assumption since their sprints coach left for Dixie State

What “proof” do you want. They start interviewing candidates over the phone this week.
Proof.
Anyone know what happened with the old throws coach? Weird to see a vacancy this late in the fall.
Took the same job at USC-upstate
Thanks. I saw that after I posted. Good to see good coaches still working.

Wow. I’d like to see his list of references. Who convinced Dartmouth that this was the right move?
Justin is a good coach and everywhere he has been he has done well. He has slowly and methodically advanced his career.

Thank God. Finally a good coach getting into a big program without having all the D1 connections or being an Olympian. This type of hire should happen more often. Look at success within division and progression of athletes based on where they started. Too many D*mn bad coaches getting hired to the DI ranks because they had DI status somewhere else. Nice work Justin - good on you for doing it the right way and working up. I've only talked with a couple other coaches about you, and some athletes who were looking to run for you, and they all had great things to say. Keep it up!
Coming no higher then 6th in a D3 conference really shows you got what it takes
You sir, are an idiot. That was his first year at a program which wasn't established. You clearly have no clue how good programs are developed. It takes time. His work at Stevens, where he coached for 6 years is what you should be looking at. He accomplished very big things at the D3 level (try reading Dartmouth's write up for yourself sometime). I'm guessing you were one of the folks who didn't get the job and are just pissed. Either that, or you are just dumb and chiming in. You pick.
